There is a natural anti-inflammatory that you can get from the chemist, just can't remember the name now. I was prescribed it for my ITB (pain was above and in the same area you pointed out) when I desperately wanted to do a race. Was told to take it a few days prior to the race and also on race day (in the morning and half way through). It worked for me.

That sounds Dope to me

Right, took my bike and shoes for a re-setup. Everything was fine, BUT, he dropped my seat with 2cm! Told me 'no wonder I got itb issues. i have tip-toe just to turn the pedals.'

I will get a knee thingy and inflammation cream at the chemist. Ice and stretch until Sunday. And then pray I make it... Thanks for the advice, I appreciate it.

I use Miracle Magnesium, the roll on one. Saw their stand at the Expo in the Exit hall this morning. Really Works for me.! Also went to a chiro on Monday who did my knee/hip alignment since I too struggle with knee issues. I can now walk up stairs and down stairs without ANY pain!

Thanks for the advice hubbers. I finished the Argus 4h20 on my clock. Had to take it easy on Chappies and Suikerbossie for my knee, but loved the race. I made sure I was never without a group.

The new setup worked beautifully, and Rennies took care of a cramp on Suikerbossie.
