Jinna!!! Go team Supervan :whistling:

Hmm, I am a big Giro fan, bit this years race is not doing it for me, not sure what it is, the route, the field, the weather dunno, but apart from Sat. I feel its been downright boring.

From the bits I've seen I feel the same, something's missing...except yesterday on the last long descent where BMC decided to push it that was quite nice...the whole peleton looooong single file winding there way down...

Tour of California, also only saw bits here and there but that looked even more boring

Sorry so late - but is Grumpy Old Guy posting again ?

Flip the weather must be REALLY 'orrible in his new home ........

Watched the highlights at the hotel after S2C, man those okes can ride, and the breakaways up those hills. Was interesting to see Wigo and team sky take things on.

I think the Sky train mentality are making racing less interesting for some folks.

I think its a phase cycling is going through. It will change.

Once the European countries(Italians, Frenchies), have some GC contenders, racing will change.

They are animators of the sport and will live for glory. They dont have the TT ability of the other guys and have to put everything on the line in the mountains.

Wiggins should have skipped Cali and done the Giro, with this slow pace he stood a good chance.

(After a good TTT and ITT of coarse)

WHOOHOO!!

Admittedly, it was a weird 1st week.

Crash-marred and a somewhat controversial Maglia Rosa for BMC.

I'm sure Scarponi's position has also dented your interest, GOG?

Ha, Ha, maybe, the old bugger needs to up his game a bit.

......But mostly........its very sloooooooow, the almighty SKY seem to me to be conspicuous by their absence in any kind of attack and Saxo seem to be working more on their tans at the back than racing, if it were not for the small mostly continental teams like Bardiani, Neri Sottoli and Androni Giocattoli who have been represented in almost every break, I dont think I would still be watching.

And Rolland as well later on - a magnificent stage

For some reason the commentators wrote Rolland off after his top 10 in Le tour in 2012.

What an attack he made. Its those breaks that we will always remember.

Why does he look so much like Andy Schleck? Also see he is of his qrings, so is Taylor Phinney.

Very true, I think Wiggins is a class act, certainly streets ahead of the majority of riders in this years Giro so he would of stood a good chance of winning. Pity he isnt here I agree.
