I notice todays date, but it sounds more like a article written in 2001...

"The majority of Zimbabwe's 4,500 white commercial farmers are of British origin. Their families have lived off the land throughout the past century, helping to build what was until recently one of Africa's strongest economies"

Until recently they say?

I THOUGHT I REMEMBER READING THAT LOOOOONG AGO BUT THEN I SAW THE DATE AND PRESUMED I WAS GOING MAD(very possible) but i am sure i read it about 4 years ago

*sorry Kevin - I didn't mean your epic. Please don't sue me.

HASNT THE NAME KEVIN

AND EPIC GOT COPY RIGHTS JUST FOR USING THEM YOU HAVE TO PAY HIS MAJESTY ???

That's why I didn't put a capital E in front of epic. If you use the capital the Vermaak police come and steal your little sister's lunch money.

You laugh....at the Epic* briefing at the V&A Waterfront the Vermaak police made the foreigner in front of me remove his cap. Said foreigner had used the real Epic logo on his cap along with his team name and sponsors.

I was lucky to get away with not having to pay for breathing some air that the wind had blown from Kevin's general direction towards me. Vermaak Air doesn't come cheap!

*I don't have a little sister so I'm safe.

SORRY I THOUGHT YOU MEANT THE OWNERS

SOOORY

No worries boet. You meant well.

I think most saffers would agree economic redress is an important issue but getting agreement on exactly how to do it is the tricky bit that trips us up.

Locals fear that a vacant beachfront pavilion will turn Scottburgh into a ghost town and fall to the mercy of vagrants.

That's taking it a bit far without the required violin music, what next the sky falling on their heads, by Toutatis?!

Maybe not , but you can kiss that beach front goodbye . When they finished with the chicken shop a few shacks will follow .

I really despise the cANCer's "replace the whiteys with blackeys" approach to economic redress. Kinda like the cANCer's Cape Town rep saying that whites should be fired from the councils to make way for previously disadvantaged people.

That's not economic redress - that's economic reversal. Great for black people - not so good for South Africa. It means that unemployment will stay the same - just the colour of the unemployment will change.

One day the cANCer will realise that to feed more people you need to bake another cake. One cake can't feed an infinite amount of people.

Hmmm nah - the cANCer will never realise this...

not really there are a few examples of complete towns dying and fading away when this is done

all the clevererer people can name a few there are plenty, on carte blanche awhile ago there was a program of a few tourism towns that died

The waterfront is already a little dodgy - remove the people that frequent the restaurants and it will get worse rapidly I reckon.

The showers after Joberg2c were nasty - broken shower heads, some not working, siff concrete and toilets. The waterfront is barely hanging on as it is....

A bit off topic but this is a shocker

Shocking racial scaremongering bad journalism yes, nowhere in the article has Telkom said they will "target whites", its the journo speculating.

Maybe he is speculating but not according to my account manager at Telkom .

I walked into those then straight back out...

I went for a swim in the sea and then a rinse off under the beach showers.

No queue to get into the sea or under the beach shower, great success

Both waters were clean, one a bit saltier than the other

Another reason to hate this Telscum, I will not have anything to do with telkom ever, Ive had a past experience with them.

This is also a reason why I WILL NEVER donate a cent to a charity thats for blacks, everything is about them, I'll donate to animal causes and white charities, thats it.

end of story

Damn. I'm dimmer than a 2 watt light bulb. Why didn't I think of that?
