So I dont need to carry the extra gels and food. This is my first attempt. Would you suggest a sachet of rehydrate or 2.

Carry gels, you probably want to be using 1 per hour at least maybe every 45 mins (I do) and if you are not used to what they are stocking........well let's leave it there.

 

What is this rehydrate you talk of? Never used it so can't comment.

TX DICK, the rehydrate is the Sport rehydrate that you get in the sachetts. Always carry that on a long ride. Gels will be packed(good advice as you know my fitness levels). 

You have more worries than me, your ROTATOR CUP IS !@#$%^. Strongs on the ride.

Someone warned me about my black shirt. So going with my bright white shirt (normally worn on the road   ) I might be cooler but I will for sure be a picture of its own kind at the end :D
