Hey where is my feed back on the pro 300

Dips, not sure but I don't think the 300 has auto adjusting resistance. The 400 however does and is designed for virtual racing. I'm pretty sure that Cadence had a bespoke software application written for them.

+1 on the software. Spoke to a guy last night, they develop a training plan for you after an initial 20 min assessment to get you "numbers". You then have 2 classes per week, rest of the week you can come and use the studio for low or middle intensity training. If you train at home and want all your workouts in a central place, you either export/import the data or buy their software (50 euro a year IIRC). You can use any studio once you have paid. They typically arrange plans around events, ie if you join now it is 9 weeks at R1700 aimed at 94.7. But you can also have your own targets and they develop a program accordingly.

I think I must just sit and pedal some more plus read the hub for advice :-)

Ja, almost all of the folk I ride with are on a monthly plan at Cadence and have been for about 2/3 years now. They go twice a week to cadence instead of another gym and often pop in for another tempo session (quite imperative). They have all improved greatly in their strength and fitness levels.

Our weekly death matches here will also make us strong.

Ag nee man swiss....thought you are in the mix already....remember to create a profile on the virtual training site, post your name here and we will send maatjie request. makes it easier when we send out invites for online races. Most of us sommer use our hub names...makes it easier to identify each other.

Have been sick the last week anyway so would not have been able to use it.

Quite right guys, the 300 doesn't have auto resistance - is manually adjusted like a spinning bike - but can be used to good effect for the online racing. It would be the same as riding our Jet Fluid trainer with a PowerTap wheel, as it has a PowerTap built into the flywheel, then if you want to go faster in the race/course you have to use the gearing/resistance to push out more power.

The 400 has exactly the same features and functionality as the PowerBeam - so auto resistance adjust and again it has a PowerTap in the flywheel.

Both of these units are very nice if you and your missus want to train (obviously not at the same time) as the bike has pretty much infinite adjustments and it is a case of start software, jump on and start pedaling.

Guys on the desktop application, how do you disable video in total? When my friend tries to download routes it wants to download gigs. He only wants to ride along with google maps.

Had the same question when i started up a few months ago... as far as i understand with the desktop version if the route you want to download contains a video you can not download it without the video. Someone did mention that you can download the GXP file and import that and ride along to it but i havent tried it so not sure whether it uses google maps as well or not.

What i do now is download the routes i need at work, put it onto a flash drive and take it home to install on my PC at home.

Unfortunately if the route has video content then it has to be downloaded with the video content, if he can't download (MB restrictions)/doesn't want the video then perhaps search for routes without that content.

Otherwise he is welcome to send us an external hard drive and we can give him +-150 gigs worth of routes that we have downloaded for desktop and he can then copy-paste them into the software's routes folder.

Ok, so let's talk about the pro 300

Does it also work the same as the power pro that most of us are using does it give resistance ??? And with that flywheel is it more realistic FEEL ???, (looks like a to me from me type of something I would like)
