There's another tangent. What do you guys and gals rate as the best war movie of all time?

Realise I'm jumping in this thread a bit late..

I'm not a big fan of war movies so Probably many I haven't seen, but definitely Full Metal Jacket and Good Morning Vietnam

Hey I watched Wild last night.. I really enjoyed it and I'm not even a big Reese Witherspoon fan.

I enjoyed it...but more for the hiking porn..would love to the PCT...but if I had the time to take 4 months off...then i would rather do the AT

Haven't watched that, but I saw Minions on Saturday, thoroughly enjoyed it.

lol

I wanted to watch that, but the boys wanted to watch Jurassic World.. lol Did I laugh at that youngest one of mine (he is 11 pg was suggested between 10-12 so we though okay cool it'll be okay for him, note he is a bit of a bang-broek when it comes to movies)  .. he pulled his hoodie over his eyes a couple of times and said to me afterwards, "mommy I may have to come cuddle you tonight."

I think I would also be terrified if I was a kid watching Jurassic World :whistling:

Coolest movie I have seen in a looong time. Will watch it once a week just for the pure gnarlyness.

Watched American Hustle yesterday (yet another bargain bin buy). Was a little disappointed with the conclusion, which kinda screwed up what was up till then a good movie. I will watch again. Just for Amy Adams. I am going to marry her...

Amongst my latest bargain bin find was this...

Must say, it was one of the oddest film treatments of that time I have seen. Need to watch it again. But one thing that intrigued me was the Zapruder film aspect. Would love to read or watch more about it. Any suggestions?

Remember how that movie was touted to be an oscar winning movie...and now you see it in a bargain bin..just shows how crap the oscars have become
