Glory Road (2006). Enjoyable movie based on the story of Texas Western coach Don Haskins who led the first all-black starting line-up for a college basketball team to the NCAA national championship in 1966. If you liked Remember The Titans this should put a smile on your face. 7/10

Watched Fantastic Beasts and where to find them this holiday. Not being a Harry Potter fan - I wasn't exactly looking forward to it - but I thoroughly enjoyed it. My sister found it to be too long. While somewhat predictable - it was enchanting. I watched it in 3D - it was one of those trying too hard to make it 3D - I think 2D would have been fine.

On an aside - this self service thing at Ster Kinekor to pre-order everything is so annoying!

Hahaaa are you implying I'm rating my enjoyment based on eye-candy value?

I had to go google who Eddie RedMayne is.  I'm not one to watch movies based on who's in it, and I'm terrible with actor names.

That sad, he's character in the movie is portrayed so well (IMO) that if he's supposed to be eye-candy - that's not immediately in your face obvious.

I don't even care if it's going to be a good movie. I am going to watch it and I'm going to love it.

gonna be difficult to emulate the dynamic of Eric Estrada and Larry Wilcox.....but time will tell

I'm gonna be that oke.....The illogic of it all annoyed the bejeevers out of me.

For starters they would have had a situation where a real person would always be available to man the ship. that would mean a team of 50 odd waking up twice for a period of 1 year each time over the entire flight period. This would be to attend to any in flight incidents etc. they would never leave the ship unmaned for 100 odd years. Secondly...her pod was not damaged at all..she could have just been put back into deep sleep and he could have used the medical bay. thirdly...he survived concentrated 1000 odd degree flames with a little captain america type shield...
