lukelockie Posted June 28, 2014 Author Posted June 28, 2014 Well it fell off during the ride and did the best I could to ghetto fit it back on and tighten the bolts and it stayed on until I got back to the carpark.put the bike on the rack and it fell off the bike again whilst driving out

IIRC, that's (crank cap) only for BB preload and not to hold the crank to the spindle.. The two allen bolts are required to tighten the crank to the crank spindle. musn't forget the spacer to fill the slot in the crank. its that spacer that prevents the cranks from falling off if you forget to tighten the allen screws.
