Should I buy a new bike now with stores giving discount on 2014 models before the next year's models come out? Or do I wait for when the new bikes out and get a good second hand deal when guys buy new bikes?

Have found that the "buy last years stock for a better price so we can keep next years model" scenario

to be much more applicable to North American and European market.

In Canada you can buys last years Toyota or Jeep sometimes at 0% interest!!

My brother over there always read all the reviews, then buy an "old" bike as the new stock for next year arrives. Great deals.

Here the shops don't stock so much . not so much invested in stock. . . so they don't care . . it seems.

Some sod will come and buy it, as there is a lack of alternative choices and not enough competition.

I Agree with IH8MUD. They also always play the "bad exchange rates" card a lot, so the best is to get the best price now and buy, chances are that the 2015 models will be more expensive for the same.

I have learned that the shops with the good prices are always sold out, the ones with the not so good prices always have stock.

Hi. Just hold out for a few months.... the best time to buy a bike, is right after the 94,7 , lots of bargains to be had then.

Depends if you mean second hand market or new.

Used to be that old stock would be cleared end of season(whenever that is) at a discount on RRP. Don't see it that often anymore, but o-bike website kind of gives you the best insight into what's sitting on the books at distributer level if you're bargain hunting.
