I had a new frame wrapped with the vinyl they wrap cars with. It cost me about R350 and it kept my frame immaculate for two years.

How does this product fare after a year or two of being in the sun? I see how my Camelbak and shirts have all faded after time in the African sun!

Normal colours last up to 10 years

florescent and glow in the dark need to have new coats often to keep there colours

sun wont damage the colours and there is no damage to your bike after peeling it off

there are no seems or joints !!

i can add a clear coat for extra protection

i have applied this product on a cars exhaust before no problems

i have wrapped a kettle to no problems

anthony@armourteq.co.za got plenty pictures to show let me know

It looks good, but everything that's new looks good.

The "easy to peel" part worries me. Have you tried this in a bike carrier clamp? Anything that is easy to peel ie. low adhesion to the frame, is going to get stuffed up by the pressure of the clamp in most bike racks.

Other areas of concern will be around the skewers, front derailleur mount, seatpost clamp and anywhere that a cable touches the frame.

It doesn't sound like it's going to be very hardwearing.

Weight will be a few extra grams nothing serious

this product can only make your bike cooler and faster paint jobs are cool,

but 3months later when you board u must re do it, takes u 3weeks

we can do it same day or 4 workings latest

I suppose this is an option if you want to keep your frame warranty but want a new look to your bike without having to do a respray.

bike racks are not a problem screws and seatpost is not a problem it can sit over it 'de-railers are also fine 'where the cable touches u can put a clear sticker on that part

I PM'd him some weeks ago. He has done a little job for me to repay somebody who saved a set of wheels for me.

Long story....
