What bib to buy?

I had the urge to try out some new gear as I think most of us started off with First Ascent, and then maybe some Panda, and possibly some F-Tech etc.

Always wanted to try out Assos as most guys and girls rant and rave about the product. So I took the plunge yesterday after doing a bit of price checks here and there and went to Bikewear in PTA.

Amazingly friendly bunch of guys with probably the widest range of Assos gear. So now I'm all kitted in Assos and can't wait for the weekend's long rides

Assos is da bomb

I've only heard good things so I'm quite keen to give it a try. As the mileage increase, the more my cheeks moan. So I trust the new Assos gear will keep the cheeks happy

Just as SurferChild says, I started on FA and would swop between FA and Cape Storm (CS). I then got a chance to try Craft when they were on special and from that moment I simply couldn't go back to either FA or CS.

With the CycleLab sale on at the moment I took the plunge and went for something new - Giordana and Pearl Imuzi.

I tried the Giordana (Silverline) the other day and now I'm wondering whether I will ever be able to go back to Craft! I must still try the PI but wow, the improved fir from the Giordana compared t othe Craft is amazing.

Assos next!

I also took the plunge and got me some Assos. Only done one ride so far, not too far, but they were amazing. Funny enough, on my commute yesterday I wore my Anatomic bibs, can't tell you how uncomfortable they were  Assos FTW!

I love my S7's! that being said, I had a hot dismount on the trail last weekend, first thing I checked, that my pants weren't destroyed, They were completely unscaved, my skin, not so much

There is a new Italian "kid on the block" in RSA. Great quality clothing at really great prices. I've bought 4 bibs from them, and they are certainly in the same class as Nalini, Santini, Giordana.

Bicycle-Line clothing. Do a Google...there is a global and a local website

Following this thread too. My ass also seems to only prefer Spez bibs. When they were out of stock recently I tried craft and after 30 km it felt like I was sitting on razor blades.

I can second that. the craft sizing is also all over the place. Some XXL bibs fit me perfectly and others (also XXL) bunch up over the thighs and butt areas...not good on a long ride
