Froome looks like he lost a bit of skin in the accident earlier on today. Let's hope it's not any more serious than that.

Crosswind time for Tinkoff'?

A flat finish for the sprinters are a long day racing across Castile-La Mancha where only a slight breeze is needed on the exposed plains to split the bunch in crosswinds and wake you from your siesta.

Valid call.

The other team who would target a stage like that, I think, is OPQ - to force the echelons and get Uran back in the game...

You must see the number of times De Marchi was in the break during the Tour.

To win a stage from the break you have to be there.

Think he deserves it, BIG TIME.

Edit: grammar

Would love to see his power data from today.

What a racer.

Quite a few crashes today

Even one of my favourite young riders in Barguil clipped a rear wheel in the final straight. He looked eina.

Below is an AG2R rider:

“To finish third in the same time as Froome and Valverde is almost a victory for me...Had I just made the top 10, I’d have been happy. My knee still hurts sometimes but fingers crossed, I hope it’ll last like this.”

The peloton was doing 60 for quite a while yesterday, before the final climb. Even for a big group that's gotta be tough.
