Was standing on the side of the road when this guy came flying through....could not believe my eyes! He was moving at a serious pace with some bikes cruising a short distance behind him....didn't seem like they were catching up!

Indeed....03h15...and he still believes that he can get under 3 hours! Second hand cycle came in 50 mins behind him!

I started up Edinburgh drive with him, the power he was pushing out was just plain frikking amazing

That can only be pain and strain on those lower back muscles. And a 3:15 is phenominal. Bet he could easily do a sub 3 if there was two or more of them working together. A 109k solo time trial with your arms makes his time even more impressive!!
