Well run a 26er on the back and a 650b up front with the 100mm fork to start with

I meant dabble not look like a tjop on the trails ;)

26 front, 650b rear and a 100mm fork. Then you can look like a MTB time triallist. You can't look like a tjop if you're faster than everyone else.

just do it - can see absolutely no reason not to try it

 

putting a really long fork on a frame thats not designed for it 'may' over stress the headtube - putting a shorter for on will not, and we are only talking 20mm here
