AdrianDJ Posted August 28, 2014 Share 6.4kg not light??? Is race legal not 6,2kg?race legal is 6.8, he means by todays standards - ax lightness, trek emonda etc all making bikes sub 6kgs. Have a friend who has an ax lightness and his bike is sub 6kgs with his training wheels, but too scared to hit a pot hole or tighten a screw

patches Posted August 28, 2014 Share Ok, ok, I'll post a heavy beast... At 17.6kg this heffer weighs as much as 2 of most of the bikes here Believe it or not, that's on the lighter side for a DH bike. Especially when one considers that this has no carbon on it, and has a custom extra long frame. A DH bike weing in around 15 (Like GM's) can set one back over 100k... easily!
