A 29er wheel travels further in distance with each rotation of the wheel than a 26er.

Therefore a bigger rotor is needed to achieve the same braking force at the same speed.

Simple really.

 

I hope you have sarcasm font on cos your science font is broken.

Your physics is flawed.

It is force that needs to be slowed down.

 

All things equal, all things will be equal no matter the wheel size.

velocity does not get changed by wheel size.

 

So please show me how this applies in a practical manner.

/resisting the urge to go all sciencey...

 

180 rotors, check pads/change pad type (lightly sand down with fine paper if they are full of junk), bleed as last resort.

SLX brakes should be able to stop you with plenty strength left.
