Now we refer to the reasonable person (Walkers, joggers, riders, runners, kids, etc). A reasonable person can SEE the path. A reasonable person KNOWS it's a path. A reasonable person ASSUMES we follow the path. So I think Peach has a valid argument.

People (No matter what you are doing) are just lazy and inconsiderate that take the straight line

A reasonable person wouldn't really care. Which paths?

There's plenty kids riding, they don't really care, they're just being care free.

Commuters riding through Delta, they and runners etc etc must now what stick to the contour path and winding singletrack created by MTBers. Why?

For the most part all the lines are still there, often new ones, straighter ones even, form due to rain and what not.

There are actually bigger, more important things to look at on the Spruit.

Thats why I said SA

In SA, could name a good few people who could actually  ... or is this one of those self loathing saffa comments.

haha, I would love to see anyone in SA ride everything on the spruit on a road bike, jumps included

Have seen vagrants riding old road bikes on many parts of the spruit, must admit I have not seen them take jumps yet...

whats with all the trolling and hating, I was just pointing out the obvious.

I think the entire topic and it's intention was based on trolling with the intention to get a few warnings issued.

There are a couple of lads around bloemfontein way..... maybe it's Kimberly that will have no issues with those jumps on a roadbike... :)

Now that I look at I don't think these are the people in question (as they are a minority in the winding section he is probably referring to - NOTE: Not the whole Spruit)

The main damage probably comes from MTB's that are too lazy to corner, as they are the heaviest and fastest so will do the most damage

Thats great. Maybe peach can set up a fund raiser to collect money for these guys to get some decent bikes and after that the rat fairies can run some skills clinics for them

Some obstacles may appear in all of the straight lines in the not too distant future.

You can thank the Spruit fairies for improving your riding skills free of charge.

Just do this. Don't waste your time trying to argue your point with the resident hub trolls.

I don't think it's isolated to one or two individuals, but more an attitude by the amateur "downhill" bunch.

It's hard for them to accept that we all like to do a different type of riding.
