Anyone able to upload a video clip to see the picture quality?

Do you mean upload to Youtube or something? The files are huge!!

Mine works perfect, If all else fails take the SD card out and put into a reader or buy a MINI HDMI cable R100 from the fleamarket and watch it on a HD or HD ready TV

What he means is he wants to see a clip made with the camera. I only got half of my consignment rest sitting at the post office hub. I expect delivery in next month odd or a ticket. The shake on video is horrible from current mount. So wont be posting that video.

Also looking at getting new mounts... haven't played with it after I snapped the one it came with.

I am pretty happy with it as is. With original video its slightly more crisp. I will however say the original mount is crap. I am using a stem cap mount atm. For the amount i paid and for the purpose of use its perfect.

It does have some drawbacks but i highly doubt anything remotely in this price range will be better.

I also have only charged it once and used it for about 30-40min of recording over a month.

I will most likely ride with it quite often now as its easy to remove for download with the waterproof casing just clipping open.

I got one for 499 on takealot. For that price you get the mounts and a watertight container. Quite nifty for a first time camera kit at that price. The video is "noisy" but decent enough. It has standard camera threading so you will be able to use aftermarket or other makes of mounts should you need to.

Its quite nice to use as a dashcam when you arent riding. Pics up audio well. For the price, you cant beat it. I get just shy of 2 hours with the battery.

Tip: Use a charger from an old USB1 cell phone, if you charge via PC USB port it will take forever.

For the price of the camera you can spend a bit on mounts I reckon.

Takealot has a gopro chest strap for under R500 which you could make work. The chest straps give the best footage in opinion.

Hi anyone else had problems with the camera that it gets hot when in the waterproof housing and then gets foggy. Other than that great cam.

This happens with GoPros as well.

30 minute battery life ?!!

I would imagine that's on 1080/60fps. Reports of closer to 90 minutes online. If you record at that quality, you're not going to get anywhere near a decent run time no matter what cam you buy.

See Flatdog gets just shy of 2 hours. Depends solely on the quality you set it at.
