if you buy all the bicycling mags for on year (Jan-Dec) you never have to buy one again, they simply change the pics but the articles and "how to ride your best Argus" stay exactly the same.

 

Ride used to be ok ish but they are slowly but surely following the same path as bicycling.

Neither. Like Fanie said, they just re-use articles, only the bike reviews can be interesting.

Tread is definitely one of the best, there's also some new quarterly mag which is really good, the name escapes me at the moment...

That's actually very true! And a lot of the fitness articles are available online. So its all about the pictures, which I can also see online. or go to the ladies and bicycles thread....

Tread is probably the best MTB specific magazine. I generally finish reading it on the same day I bought it, but it's nice to page through if you're taking a crap and you forgot your phone.
