There are supposed to have been 17 South Africans on the start line. For the life of me I am unable to find the full results of the ordinary mortals.

Somebody please give the link to the full results of KONA 2014. NO! NO NO! don't refer me to their web site - just give the actual link to the comprehensive results

thanx

With the above link you still have to select country and then age group for the filter to work

I will take payment in Mugg n Bean cheesecake gift vouchers

That Pic of the Felt that you posted Andymann is Mirinda Carfrae's, the custom saddle is a dead giveaway.

I thought as much!  There were a few more I took, but I haven't downloaded them yet.

Its seemed like a tough day for everyone out there this year.

Van Lierde, Mckensie. Even Kyle Buckingham was a little disappointing.

If Frodeno didn't have punctures, the results would have been interesting.

I was just over supporting, but I took my bike with, so I got to ride the route in the week before the race.  It's definitely not an easy ride.  And I also got punctures.  We were discussing over a (very expensive) beer, that we suspect that because the tar is so smooth, any little piece of glass or wire (I had a staple) lies on top of the surface, unlike here in SA where they tend to lie in between the stones in the tar.  Race day was insanely windy - not as warm as the previous week, but the wind was howling on the return from Hawi

I have the unenviable record of being caught twice by the same person.....once on the way out, and after I turned early (and she continued to Hawi), again about 10km from the end.....

I did however give James a good run for about 3km before he stopped messing with with his shifters and disappeared up the road.

Sounds like you had a great time, so planning on getting in training to get yourself there as an athlete?

Maybe in 20 years time in the 60-64 category... Although given that some of those 60yo could probably ride a sub3 94.7 twice back-to-back it might still be a stretch!I

I'd like to try a 70.3 next year - maybe Midlands Ultra in March, and then if I can find a good coach(!) maybe IMSA in 2016.....
