It is a helmet, nothing special, nothing "wow!”

Chin straps on the models are also a bit short, probably reason why people are selling.

Fit before you buy an adage I believe in.

K@K man .... some have better protection than others

The Etto as per the link has a nice bit of support to the lower back of the skull.

Bought one and been using it for a while now (Most of the riders in our group have actually gone and bought one) .... comfy, enough ventilation and looks far better than the price tag would suggest.

Hairy, I have two (diff colours) and am very happy with them. Do you know of anyone who has fallen with one and how they stand up to a crash?

One of the riders in the first week of buying

A proper fall on your head has not been tested yet, no matter how we have motivated the above rider to try.

But yes, all of us have taken a hard tumble with the helmet and it has fared well.

For the amount of money it is a great buy  and has supposedly also passed all the safety standard tests.

I think an intentional full-on dive on the head is possibly taking research a bit far but good to know they seem safe. The padding inside the helmet at least is thicker than my old Giro and they look just so much better, I'm very happy. The new colours on the Etto site do look cool.

I have take a fall with a clout on the head with it... stood up fine to the impact - which means my head is still ok... :)
