If I was standing next to someone who assaulted a rider, I do something about it.

There are very few ppl like you that would do "something". The majority of people will just stand and watch.

Valverde looks in great form, and definitely stronger than Contador at the moment.  If Valverde and Quintana work well together in the last week, and Froome have a bad day they might stand a chance.  I still say Quintana will make a big move on the Alpe d'Huez.

Valverde normally fades at some point.

Quintanna is looking better and better, and he normally hits form in the 3e week.

Hold on to your chairs, next week is foing to be great..(I hope) moviestar are going to throw als at sky.

Contador, I am aftaid must just try and secure a top 5 and hope for some luck if he wants a podium.

And before I forget.. Sagaaaan is just bloody awesome.. I am doing some weird dance hoping that it will bring him a stage win. Although I think his effort today would have taken a lot out of him and it would he really hard to get a win tomorrow. He has a nice buffer of 61 points, bit he'll have to be wide awake for the rest of the tour.

Sagan was with Cummings on the climb. Camera does not show him frome there. I wonder why he did not go with Cummings? Good for MTN that he did not, I wonder if he sat up because he thought the two climbers were gone?

Shame hey, he must be in so much pain. It actually looked like over the top movie makeup. . Die arme ding I felt so sorry for him.

Proper eina, worst thing is these guys can hardly take any pain medication to help them just sleep a bit better. It really is borderline insane what they have to endure in this sport.

Was really impressed to see how he caught up after being right at the back of the little group

Thought he was going to crash on those last corners, bloody  brilliant skills

One of the best timed wins I have seen!!

Think Quintana is going to be a serious problem for Froome next week!!

Froome needs Porte to be at hes very best for Friday and Saturday's stages. He is the only climber they have that can bring back a rampant Quintana.

If Froome only has to deal with him for 2 or 3 km on hes own each time he should be ok.

Battle for 3rd spot on poduim also going to be great!

Agree with your synopsis on Porte. Hope he has been saving his legs foir just such an event because he has only shown himself selectively thus far. With Valverde, Quintana has an excellent foil to take on The Rhino Man. Licking my chops for this showdown. Also hope G can hang in there. Most impressed with him thus far.

If you missed the news yesterday, the reason Sky have chosen to take the step to surround themselves with the police this morning is after their leader Chris Froome was doused in urine by a spectator, while his teammates Richie Porte and Luke Rowe were apparently also spat on.

Today could be an opportunity for the sprinters but if they want to have hope of even making the sprint they'll have to get over the second category Col de l'Escrinet.
