No matter how many times you post a photo of his butt, we are still not going to be more convinced!

Oh yay, lights!

I didn't even notice. . But thanks for pointing it out [emoji6] [emoji122]

Yates didn't even throw the bottle. The mechanic did. Amazing who bears the brunt at times. Just imagine the response if the camera bike knocked S4gan?

Just so the TDF coverage do not get interrupted they can push riders out of the way? Bit confusing as to who is important.

But anyway it is what it is, what's more important is the weather conditions for tomorrow's long altitude stage? Contador might just improve as he can descend better than most riders.

Any pointers dale/gen?

Looking at the profile, the section from Crest to Col de Cabre is effectively one long climb.

A virtually uninterrupted 81.5 km climb  .

That's an 81.5km climb from sea level to the top of Table Mountain... A gradient of 1%. Average speed for these okes, 40kph,probably. If I'm not mistaken the descent of the col de Manse was where the guys all flew into peoples car ports and gardens last time they came down there.

Roll on todays stage.

Mr Froome is gaining my respect back daily. Last year was a bit of a low point overall, not with the tour fail but the way the asthma pump thing was handled. This year is a totally different person up there.

It seems like he has decided to go on some media training cause the way he has spoken to the press this year is like the head of the tour. Previous years he was still like a boy that was at the adults party.

Some interesting footage here where the UK journalists stick it to Jalabert:

Good on them as he has never come clean. This is like Armstrong commentating for US TV after all the doping allegations. And the French are happy with this. FWIW I think half of cycling's problems stem from the French and their porous relationship with the truth, especially when it comes to cycling performance and their national heroes. Nuff said.

I remember that lol

In terms of the gradient, certainly not steep. But because there'll be no let-up due to the slight uphill going on for 80km, it will be a very hard day because there'll be no resting in the bunch - no nice downhills to catch a breather. Everyone will effectively be working against gravity.

And whoever makes it into the break is going to have an even harder day.

Gen I am worried that if he ever comes to do the Cape Town Sagan Race or the 94.Sagan, you will quite literally explode! :) hopefully I can see it at some point.

LOL... i could very well hey.

But no, people often think I like him for his looks, he is far too young for me to think he is hot, he isn't bad looking and I do think he has nice legs, but like I said.. far too young for my liking.  My Sagan love is because of his abilities on the bike and his character off the bike.  He brings much needed humour off the bike.

I hear it's not going well with Froome and the press room sessions post-stage.

He walks in and then delivers a speech instead of giving the media their right to ask questions

Things are icey

I would have long ago resorted to making fart noises with my mouth if I was him.

They aren't intetested to hear what he says about the race, they are only interested in asking doping questions.
