Could have sworn "klapping" is what Froome did on stage 10 when he put 1.04 min on Quintana and 2.51 on Conatdor.

Quntana at least tried to react.

That was one stage.. and with the split earlier in the your he didn't need to do more. . So hence hoping they (competitors) would attack more to gain time.. but instead they (competitors) waited for the alps.. too late she cried..

So we need a big bonk or a team collapse for something to happen. . But it won't sky and froome are too strong.

Barring if Contador does somehow manage to leap frog everyone above him, if he does manage to win a stage today or tomorrow, what makes this so spectacular compared to all the others that have won a stage this year, first 2 weeks he appeared to be just following Froome around. Is it just because he is Contador.

I think Thomas will crack today/tomorrow and might lose a lot of time on these last days. He's done so much work already, and these last days will be a bridge too far for him. I can see him giving one last all-out sacrificing effort for F-Dawg on the final climb to the La Toussuire summit finish today and then collapse. Same tomorrow for Alpe d'Huez. We shouldn't be surprised if he falls out of the top 10 before Paris.

If Froome holds on to his yellow to Paris he's got Thomas to thank for it. The amount of effort, work, courage and sheer balls to the wall dedication he gave Froome is incredible! More so than Porte or Roche imho and has been the best of the super domestiques bar Sagan.

I reckon over the next 2 days the most interesting thing to watch will be the teams competition, MTN are going to kill themselves out there, sky are breathing down their necks.

The rest have a race to survive today, short stage and if the pace is hot, the autobus is going to have a tough time getting to the finish line on time.

Fuglsang said the Moto driver had driven away at the finish.. He was find multiple times for sticky bottle back to the front. 50 euro per offence. Don't think he was worried. Days he was aiming for the stage

that was very bad, before he clipped Fuglsang he almost took out Ryder, the driver has apparently been fired.  But that was bad for Fuglsang, he was going really well and not only the stage win but also KOM.

Wonder if it was the same driver that almost took out Sagan.?

It looked like a different one. The other one has a water bottle sent at the back.

Probably the train they did not hang around yesterday.

I get tired just watching him "dancing on the pedals"

Pity its a one legged square dance this year :whistling:

6540m is correct, and tomorrow is  5446m, after 6357 and 6561m on the previous days, hectic

2 weeks ago I did over 5000m climbing over 2 days. Felt like a bit of a legend in my own lunchbox. Looking at those numbers I should wind my neck in and sit back down. I'm still in my diapers in comparison. Unbelievable what these guys have to do.

Pfffft, not even a single Everesting (7855m) day in there, I'm sure they are going to feel cheated.  ;)

Enlighten me if I got this completely wrong.

People say Froome has this rider or that rider to thank if he wins the Tour, because they did all the work for him.

Did they pedal his bike also, or did he get pushed along or hang onto shirt pockets? Or did he just match them pedal stroke for pedal stroke?

Same goes for all the other GC "contenders".

Froome matched their attacks everytime, pedaling back to them on his own, no pushing or pulling him back up to them.

I think he rode a masterfull race.

Put the time into the guys early on, and all he has to do is stay with the oke closest to him on GC, and not allow him / them to claw time back on him.

Simple, effective, brilliant!!
