Froome not happy with the timing of Nibali's attack, no real damage to his position but wonder how the others in 3rd, 4th etc feel.

There is no love lost there lol

Maybe not so nice of nibbles hey. but he is no GC threat so not really an issue.. but Astana will find themselves without friends tomorrow as they found themselves in the giro..

I can just hear vino screaming in Nibbles ear yelling him to go froome has an issue... flip Vino even attacked his own team leader (ulrich) in the one tour... that's how he and Astana roll.

PS I also don't think it's cool hey.

I was sitting at the dr waiting and saw that. At first I just thought froome had bonked. Lol

Not a GC threat but a podium threat, if they were 3,4th, saw that Froome had an issue so did not attack only to have some one lower down do it and overtake them they might be peeved.

Well look how Quintana has proven how much stronger he is on the mountain toady. And for a rider that did the tour almost without much of team support compared to froome.

Ey?

Quintana has a team mate sitting in 3rd place who has been right next to him in every mountain stage. Besides he has spent the whole race except for the last part of today sitting on Froomes ass.

From what I have seen when it gets heavy Froome is on his own with everyone attacking him.

“There was a moment where a piece of tar got stuck between my calipers and the back wheel,” said Froome. “Almost as if someone jammed on the brakes. That was the moment Nibali chose to attack, unfortunately. I thought that was very unsportsmanlike. You certainly would not find me attacking a race like that.”

Aye someone spat in Froome's face.. there is video footage of it. That's bloody disgusting. . Hope they find him

Not a froome supporter. Froome's team protect him from damage whether it's wind or other dangers. Same with tinkoff for Contador and Astana for Nbali. I just don't see other teams are doing the same. There's a difference in riding with and in support. For example Sagan as green jersey leader is even prepared to stand off his bike because of gc standings. Quintana and valverde seem to be rather in contention (which is fine if agreed between them I dunno ). I just said quin seems to work mostly alone. But if you feel I'm wrong then that's your opinion.

What I'm saying there is more to cycling for a team than you the individual. Some said they don't see how the team helps. Without your team no cyclist will make the GC standing or ranking.

Am I wrong?

Well, then I am glad I am less than an average cyclist. I would have stopped and moered the guy whether I wore yellow or not. He would have had a nice carbon necklace . . . I don't recall any other rider ever being treated this badly by fans and the media.

To me, this year's race was more level/equal among the top guys. There was never a single rider that blew everyone away. Froome is where he is thanks to his team. Quitana is going to be the rider to watch the next few years.

Did Contador not do this when he and Armstrong rode for Astana.

With this kinda behaviour of the supporters in France they surely ain't winning no one over as to their treatment of any cyclists. Froome or any one as I said it before should not tolerate this kind of treatment. The French press should highlight their countrymen attitude.

From the clip you could see he intentionally waited for froome. Just terrible.

Hate that stuff. And I can't help but support Froome more and more as it goes on. He races with a British license but owns a house here and rides at Suikerbos over the summer. I feel some loyalty to him

Read his book. It's very interesting. He didn't have an easy life. It wasn't all privalage and fun at a posh school. He had it quite hard in Kenya. He did a lot of his early riding there. I cycled through Kenya. It was challenging.
