So I'm trying to think ahead to when everyone in the family will have bikes, my 2 year old will be getting her first bike for xmas and my 3 month old well not quite there yet :whistling: . But just thinking eventually we will have 4 bikes to transport, do you get carriers for that? what options are out there? maybe for 4+?

2 on the roof, 2 on the back would be the easiest IMO. You can use one of those clip on jobbies on the back for the kiddie bikes, and you should be able to fit more than 2 if you're carting their mates around as well.

If you have a trailer, the easiest to fit 4 bikes are to have something fitted on top of it - there are various options available. I got one from Hanler Products and it works well, but you have to remove the front wheels. The nicest system I've seen was on a friend's trailer where he fitted a couple of Thule roof carriers on the trailer - but that works out pretty expensive.

If you don't have a trailer the 2 on top and 2 at the back like Droo said works pretty well!

Ya I reckon a trailer would be best, should be that hard to get something custom made up, not a fan of needing to take wheels off though.
