Ok,

let me be clear I will be riding W2W next year and have done a few stage rides and races BUT same as the Spez bandwagon topic can I just ask

The tops and kit given for the race is nice I get it, but lately at Tokai and surrounds every Tom , D...k and Harry has his FNB W2W lycra on day and night almost as bad as the Spez top to toe guys

I get it you did the Race,Ride,Adventure but boys and girls the event is over

Let me also say I do ride a Spez (Camber) baggies and all

Its Friday so let the reply's/insults  start flying in

I drank too much beer at the race to fit in mine, but I look forward to 94.7 tomorrow to see how many million people will be wearing theirs. Its like a posers worst dilemma, should I wear that to the nice red Spaz top?

Okay so we know Hennie is one of those "posers"

Hahahaha. I wish!

I can't even afford one of those Cape Epic jerseys they sell at Solomons to be able to pose as a poser.

Wear the kit if you have actually done the race! What grinds me is the people who wears Cape Epic kit cause they got on sale at some shop, but doesn't even know what the Epic is....

I did the event, paid good money for the shirt, so I will wear it.

Deal with it, cry baby.

Have you ever looked at what everyone is wearing at registration at the start of a stage race?

Majority of the people are wearing a shirt from an event.

I wear my Berg and Bush shirt a lot (because I like the colour and it fits really well)  Also wear my bright pink Sani jacket often in winter (its nice and light).  Does that make me a poser?

Columbia have some really nice cape epic t-shirts on sale with only a small cape epic logo on the sleeve.

Really? Come on people what is it with cyclist that all have to be better than others. If u did the race ,good on you,if you didn't and you have a shirt great. It's a frikken shirt. I have too much in my life to spend a second getting emotional over what shirt someone is wearing. Grow up. Ps I don't own any shirts from races not would I wear them. But surely another mans shirt can't be worth even turning on my laptop to come and post on the hub?

The big question here is why anybody would give a rats ass what someone else is wearing. The only time I have ever cared about something someone was wearing was a few days after a burglary when we spotted a guy strolling done the road wearing our stolen clothes and carrying my rucksack, then I cared. A lot.

I mean really, other than that, its not really up there with world hunger is it.

I'm at Ridgeway drinking a beer wearing my epic tee.

Men are scared of me and women are trying to have sex with me.

Bwahahahaha -we're cyclists dude. 99% of people think we're 1 step away from pink shirts and metrosexualism. There can be no posing or wannabeeism wearing anything remotely cycling related.
