Are cyclocross tyres all tubeless or tubless ready? If not all, are some available that can be converted?

I'm sure not ALL are tubeless or tubeless ready.

But many are, or can certainly be run as tubeless. I run my personal On-One Gravel Roads tubed but I have customers who have set them up tubeless and are happy.

I'm pretty sure, like many MTB tyres, that there's a lot of options that can be run tubeless despite not being actual tubeless specified...

Another step closer to finishing my parts list. All the way from China????, yishunbike. Great communication every step of the way. Even gave me discount as this is my second set of rims I have bought from them. Cost including shipping: $350. Planning to order another set in the future for the road bike

Parcel nice and sturdy and undamaged????

Frame still unsure. Still waiting for price from ryanpmb????

Groupset is campy veloce with a nice Record crank I got for a decent price here in the classifieds. My road bike is campy so thought it will be better to use the same. Brakes I am using Trp spyre, bar and stem Ritchey. Seat post will have to wait till I know which frame

I got the london road frame from Ryan in lumo green. awesome bike.

Only drawback in my mind, is the weight. but for the price i paid, totally worth it.

What frame you looking?

Have my eye on the London frame, but awaiting price for the Viner as well. The thing is for the Viner price I will most probably be able to get the London frame and Hope hubs which will mean I can start riding earlier. Like the Niner but also on the expensive side.

You enjoying the London bike? How is the ride?

Loving the frame. done 1750km since last year September or so.

Loving the ride. on road very comfy and no fear of punctures.

Off road gets a bit hairy at times and the arms take a pounding, but totally worth it.

II say go for it. what colour you looking at?

Black. The green is a bit too much for me

Had a test to see how easy it is to fit a tyre on the rims: conti 4000s very easy to fit, only need a tyre lever for the last bit. Big improvement on my current road wheels which are quite a mission with the same tyre

  • 2 weeks later...

So I have replaced the 32NW with a 'normal' 36 .... took it out for a 50k spin today on a variety of tar and gravel. Had 2 chain drops both on a bit of very bumpy gravel road where it was pretty slow. Not quite convinced on that account BUT it is so much better on the faster sections! I do still have the chain guide as a last resort.

What RD are you running?

A clutch derailleur will solve the chain drop problem.

I had the same issue with a dropped chain granted I was going at plus 50kmh on a gravel road, slightly downhill. I am running an oldish 105 RD. The long cage Shimano RD (non-clutch) didn't like the setup with my Ultegra STI's. Luckily I still have a old CSIXX chain guide I could fit. Just hope it's the right type for this frame.

I'm sure it will but as it's a 'run what you got' build I will keep an eye out if one comes up at a bargain price ????
