Which is what i suspect the initial service place did not do properly, they assumed it needed seals and that was it..

When servicing a fork, replace all the o-rings. They're not that expensive, they do wear, and it's almost impossible to tell just by looking at them unless they're actually disintegrating.

Looking at all comments no one has notice that the fork(air) could have been installed wrong or the air sleeve could be damage.

Sorry for highjack

I have a Rockshox Recon.  Noticed that the shox does not want to compress.  Had it serviced, worked fine, but after a while the same thing is happening (not riding a lot), seems that not using it for long periods has some contributing effect.

Any advice

As the experts have said you really need to have a good look at it.  I would suspect the +ve seal or damage to the piston or top cap, because to my logic air is moving out from the +ve chamber, which will cause pull down as described.  Sudden failure of the -ve seal will often cause the wiper seal to pop out.  With +ve and no -ve air the fork will still operate.

Wonder what the shop will say, these aren't very hard forks to work on are they?

Noticed on the seals(O-rings) in my Revelation internals the really vrot ones had a slightly flattened edge on them, if you opening everything up you may as well replace all the seals, O-rings are like R1 each..

Thanks everybody, I have been accused that I am imagining things. This made me fall twice now! I am going back to the shop tomorrow.

Yip - Magoebaskloof Classic with no suspension, that must have been fun - no wonder you bought a farm.
