Is that in the back end of... Erm. What's it called. Loads of places going up, and you'll hear a guy in a kit cobra blasting up and down to get rid of the cobwebs... I want to say Parklands, but it's not. Erm... Feck. Sunningdale! That's it. There?

That would be first prize yes. Sunningdale...dunno about the cobra though, I will keep an eye open for that.

SRAM DB5 brakes.

don't be fooled by the fact they're marketed as budget brakes, get them while theyre still 50% off on crc.

to me at least, these blow the SLX's i had out the water, although the lever shape is a bit funny

Winter is coming up so I thought... why not.

Where from? I got a similar Dakine one (the red) from either Flook or OneDayOnly (can't remember which) last year. worked really well on chilly rides.

A mussels licence. Going to eat mussels on the coast with my best friend. Given up booze and smokes. This better be worth it.

My sister in law had one and we used to pig out on mussels for a day every time we were down in CTN.

Fresh Mussels in white wine and garlic with some parsley - man i could eat a whole pot now....

My parcel just arrived...My replacement bib [emoji3][emoji3][emoji3]

Lets start with the packaging...assos must have cut the packaging budget to stay competitive...the S5 packaging has a cover over the box and even the quality of the box is superior...similar to the apple packaging...the S7 feels like cheap cardboard.

Another budget cut...no cream...wash or wash bag in the S7...however you do get a water tight sleeve to keep a card with you contact details.

The chamois and bib fabric...i cant comment on it yet because i havent washed or ridden with the new bib yet...i will give feedback soon...what i can say is that the S5 mille fabric feels flippen leka...but the chamois is what i need to check so by the end of next week i will post an update...the chamois feels similar...the only difference...seems that the chamois on the S5 mille is stitched all the way around...the S7 is not.

The straps are different...it is going to be interesting to see how they compare on a long ride.

I wear the S5 mille often...3 times a week at least...i was having a problem with the chamois bunching while riding with the romin saddle...so i returned the other pair which has been replaced with S7 stneopro

For me it's got to be the dropper post. Changed my riding experience completely

Okay so i got me one and am fitting it however I am a bit perplexed as to where and when it is recommended that one "drop" and one does not?

Any guiding videos or the like?

Drop it whenever your going down, helps with leaning back and leaning the bike in corners and flowy sections. Also really helps with jumping.

Obviously make sure it's up when you on flat and climbing.

You will get used to it fast and soon you won't know how you lived without it.
