NotSoBigBen Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 According to the OP they should not be riding there. And then I see this in other news . OP, you are really awesome, a demigod on two wheels .This I dedicate to you, even though your posture in your profile pic is all wrong. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ehToBz7zhqE&list=RDehToBz7zhqE I had an after thought as well .I wonder how many people actually have the ability to ride at the level they speak of ?Often I just sit back and think that in their mind the lunch box has just received a new legend. It's Friday, bring it on . There was that one time I had to ask you for 'trek' ....... lest you forget my superior skillz

HowellingWulf Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 According to the OP they should not be riding there. And then I see this in other news . I do a yoga and power yoga , with resistance bands as well, as training regime. As a naturally aggressive and technically capable rider, getting to that point required numerous falls, some serious, some not so. But I agree, getting your core and upper body strength in line with your riding fitness, prevents not only a lot of injury, but a lot of fallsIt depends on where you want to be, if you want to ride edgy technical stuff at blistering speeds where the brain isn't thinking anymore, falling, how to fall and how to recover from the serious falls, is all a part of the game OP, you are really awesome, a demigod on two wheels .This I dedicate to you, even though your posture in your profile pic is all wrong. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ehToBz7zhqE&list=RDehToBz7zhqE I had an after thought as well .I wonder how many people actually have the ability to ride at the level they speak of ?Often I just sit back and think that in their mind the lunch box has just received a new legend. It's Friday, bring it on .Jirre, this oke is kind of a big deal. I respectfully bow and retreat as I'm not worthy of his intelligent musings nor his exceptional level of skills. Have never tried yoga or resistance training. I do enjoy a good bowl of mixed fruit and custard yogurt though and resist the temptation to punch his ilk in the face. Does that count?

DIPSLICK Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 The funniest thing is.... No matter how much faster I get in single track, I will never forget starting out and being the slow guy holding people back. I hated the feeling of being hunted down, and felt guilty about spoiling their ride. So unless you're born awesome on the trails, you were that person. It's like being a K Nob to yourself.SO MANY "LEGENDS" FORGET THIS, SO TRUE I DONT CARE HOT YOU THINK YOU ARE YOU WERE AT ONE STAGE SLOWER THAN YOU WANT TO REMEMBER

Cois Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 We took the fiancée out to RMH. She does not want to go back there due to a few guys that were irritated by slower MTB'ers, and made some nasty comments. The 7 year old that we were riding behind, stopped and told her mom that she does not want to go on to finish the 6 km loop, because she kept the faster riders back from their ride (after so dwis made a comment towards them). So if you are a pro, and you are so selfish and self centred you should rather go ride at another place like your lounge where no one else can disturb you. Not every one has the ability to go 30 - 40km on a trail. Fudge I can't even dream of doing that. Being visually impaired I go slower on trails as I am not always able to see what is coming my way, and taking into effect that your Strava times and position is that important... I will rather not go to RHM, NF, Red Barn or the other places to go and practice. Why because guys like you want to kill the joy of MTB'ing
BarHugger Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 Lets start talking about race? The thread should pick up speed Well I'm trying to be a racists............my weight however doesn't allow me to be. Does that make me constantly speed disadvantaged or do I fall in that BEE group?
GoLefty!! You are what you are so don't try to be something you're not.Your turn
