Looking forward to a good hard race!At least the start isn't as tough as berge en dale. I find it easier to hold on when its fast instead of up. Good luck for VA.

Worrying about potholes because my god JHB roads are ***.Come do the Carnival City Macsteel National Classic next week - all the potholes will be filled, and 95% of the route has a fairly decent surface.

Zatek Posted February 10, 2015 Author Posted February 10, 2015 There is a nice drag when get to the t junction and turn left to Heidelberg, then it is the fast downhill before you hit Hoftvelds climb. Just as you go around Heidelberg there is another climb before turning right. There is a nice uphill drag with smallish climbs before you get to carnival always a cross or head wind here. The race is dangerous for the 1st 80km according to me.Going fast in your bunch with head on traffic and catching slower groups.
