Ok that's it from me. Chow for now.

Nice coverage TB.

Stoked Degenkolb took it. He's got a great classics future for sure. Giant must be stoked to roster him and Kittel!

Yoh, Sky and BMC would be bleak, I dont think I saw Giant once that entire race until the final sprint! There when it counts!

Saw Gerald throw his helmet and drag his bike across the road after his crash.\

Great watching the monuments!

Well earned Degenkolb.

He came close in 2014.

And what a master of a domestique that Paolini was for Kristoff.

Anybody that can get out of the saddle to sprint after 293 kms in wet and col conditions - chapeau!

Absolutely. Kristoff was at the back of the bunch on the Cipressa and looking terrible IMO. Paolini went back to him, guided him to the top, led him across the gap to the Poggio, right through the bunch to the front at the base of the Poggio, took Kristoff from the bottom all the way to the top of the climb, controlling every single attack, led him down the descent, continued to hammer on the front all the way to the last corner with everyone attacking around him, and dropped Kristoff off in the prime position for the sprint.

He did exactly the same thing last year when Kristoff won it.

Degenkolb won the race, but Paolini owned the race today. An incredible ride.

We also need to recognise what Thomas did today. He's looking in top form and he might just pull a big win of his own this year.

No Ettix or Skyborgs in top 10 as far as I could see.

10th for EBH

MTNQ deliver another good result.

Ciolek was furious on crashing on the Poggio descent.

Wife said to me, "That guy isn't setting a good example for the kids."

Thx for the posts. I missed this Classic because I attended another (music). I saw a fantastic home grown talent - Matheu Kieswetter. A very talented conductor. Check him out. Highjack off. Back to cycling.
