Phillipd Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 Stolen: Scott Aspect 30 2013When: 10 February 2015Where: Cape Town, Western CapeTall dark male, very tall, 6 foot+ climbed over an 8 foot wall with palisade security fencing. Cut lock and climbed over the wall with the bike. I was woken up by the noise but he managed to escape with the bike. Was seen shortly there after being picked up by an Audi SUV at Kenilworth center around 4am. Reward offered!Get further details about the incident in the Stolen Bikes section
Smurfy Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 Could it be the same Audi that was involved in the bike jacking in Simonstown earlier this year where the lady was robbed of her bike. Do you ride with Strava, if so only put it on when you are at least a block or two away from your residence. Do the same when you end your ride. There have been rumours that they(the bliksems) track the rides that way. Hope you are insured/find your bike.
