And these abominations NEVER EVER happened during all those years these PPA races WERE SANCTIONED by CSA?

Or, a little more inconvenient, shall we mention the traffic mayhem during the CSA owned, sanctioned and organized Tour de South Africa? Remember, with motorists almost killing some of the peloton and a stage getting abandoned because of it.  Embarrassing that was. (Low blow, I know, but we were talking safety and marshalling, weren't we?).

remember the french farmers that stopped the td france - some things are just beyond control but at least you have recourse up to the minister of sport. unsanctioned events?

At least that wasn't the last TdF. CSA is so clueless, they'll play solitaire for cash and lose.

No recourse was provided then either there was zero accountability taken, so there goes that argument.

No win-win because CSA painted themselves into a corner.

How many more losses can they absorb before the resignations start coming?

these okes must have the JZ School Of Thick Skinned Management

You know how stupid we are, just like me..

The reason why we renew the PPA membership every year because if we are notmember of PPA, that means we have to start at the back in the fun rides over the weekend???? Most of us don't like it...

show of hands, who entered the Argus and can't ride now because of this?

Everyone can still ride the Argus it just depend on the individual as they will to face a 1 month ban and a 50CHF to 100 CHF fine!

That's assuming the CSA can work out who to ban. I reckon will take them 4 months who to ban. By that time too late. Reckon pretty safe to do it, doubt they have the ability to get act together. :P

Off the high profile riders - I am sure the ban will be applied from that day / the Monday!

I don't get why everyone is making ongoing noise about this.

The last statement from CSA read that you won't be up for National colours etc and licensed riders who are considering this type of involvement should abide by the UCI ruling.

Joe Average who races in the leagues would not be affected....

How come this keeps being made bigger than what it is??

As stated I don’t know much about MTB races but last year I managed riders in the ABSA Cape Epic and they needed international full licenses to compete in this event. For this event do all riders need international license / full Licenses or can they ride as just been a member of CSA?

If they need full licenses - then the issue become quit large as any of the the riders in the ABSA Cape Epic cannot ride both they now need to choose between the Argus or the ABSA Cape Epic!
