If you have the proper firearms training you will know this.Think the "intention" is to draw the aggressor in, otherwise the technique won't work. Remember the aggressor wants your belongings so he will pat you down. I think it has a place. I, for one, would look into a bit of this training; but sure; there are no guarantees. It just adds to your self defence arsenal I suppose. Would really like my daughters to get some instruction. It can't hurt...

Don't get me wrong, knowing this stuff helps, but you must also not get overconfident. Learn also the finer things such as the ability to sum up your opponents state of mind and the confidence he has when handling his firearm. If he feels threatened in any way by your body language he will not think twice about removing you as a threat.

We got told we cant ride "cork tree Ally" that trail from top of Southern cross drive bellow Cecelia Forest by some ranger then had to risk our lives riding between rush hour traffic on Rhodes drive. Why???????When there is actual real crime going on in our hood.The rangers should be full time looking for the perps or helping fix trails.tried to ride that route and saw to rather unwelcome looking guys sitting in a bush. i layed on the brakes and changed direction.

It might not even work, and the strength of it depends on how charged the battery is. The good ones are too big to ride with. Pepper spray on the other hand is very handy. Try cape union mart.
