Just to say i am impressed with Easy bike service.I broke my spd pedal at Sabie last weekend and i need to order new pedals so was shoping online and they been cheapest for XT pedals.I order and paid yesterday and choose 3-4 days delivery, and whoa-la they arrived today in the morning   .

Great service Easy bike ,and by the way i am  not working for them :w00t:  Also just to mention if you think you need service something on your bike do not delay as thing will brake, trust your guts not like me  .

Cheers

Keep riding

This is 2nd time i get stuff from them  and no problem.I had same problem on no stock with CWC over December and delivery .

But i suppose sometimes they slip with service as long they notify you and try to improve  i will deal with them.

Nothing is perfect all the time. You can always phone and confirm if is in stock or not   .

its like you read my mind

Somehow I knew you would be in here lol.

How long did you get messed around for?

Having seen the fun you had I wouldn't order anything on there that doesn't have the words *Immediate shipping* or similar on the actual item. And even then I would be wary.

like I said - no stock no order. "Immediate shipping" is a must.

I even asked before I ordered how long it was going to take... so many similarities in all the testimonials. I am not saying don't use these guys but all I am saying is that I make sure there is stock first since with no stock you have to wait very long while guessing what's going on since no feedback is sent from them.

Just had the same experience as Cap & S14.

Can't say I'm super impressed.

The waiting for tyres that they had on offer has ultimately cost me a lot more cash than if I had just ordered else where.

Lesson learnt. School fees paid.

well The owner just hand delivered my tyre, took exactly one month. i just think the lack of comms is their big problem. I will proabably still buy from them because they have just moved to literally 3k,s from where i live so i can just go there and collect but only if it shows " ships immediately" and the price is good.

A month back easy bike (Matthew) managed to find me a fork nobody else could and that I had resigned to have to go through CRC for. A week back I ordered two new 2015 Nobby Nic's and they were delivered the next morning.

Huge shout out to Matthew in particular.

Look I think the general consensus here is that there is probably good and bad service from almost all the online shops and I do take my hat off to the guys locally that has made it work through all the challenges the local market face

But... that said you also sometimes have to take one on the chin to know where you can improve.

There seems to be a clear issue about letting customers know what is happening with their orders especially if they are getting a little stale. I think this needs to be addressed as well as finding a solution to the time it takes to order non stock items.

Placed an order last week for SLX brakes, they arrived the next day. So I thought why not order again...

Had a bit of confusion with my order and Matthew helped out a lot with changing my order (I changed as he said he didn't know when he would get my rotor) so then all my items changed to "Ships immediately" which I thought I would get the same service as I did with the brakes...

But now I don't get any responses from him...

That's the kind of behaviour that gives you the impression WTF these guys are dodgy as hell, easy enough to reply even if its just a canned response and say perhaps "stock issues but working on it" etc. But ignoring emails, not on, especially when you have a build on the boil!

I bought 2 tyres from them st the beginning of the year, good pricing quickish shipping.

Has anyone dropped them an email with a link to this thread?

I think the standard for service in this industry is expected to be so high that we often do get irritable. He got back to me and should be getting the stuff tomorrow he said...

My service has been good just the response time and lack of reply from time to time does make you question it. But I would buy from them again. I see they have three online stores on the go so probably under staffed and hard to get around to everyone. My assumption
