Yes, its sad that the time and money invested in these trails will never be recovered, but far more is at stake here right now. Perhaps go try out Rheebokskloof or go ride Botlary Hills or some of the Tygerberg Mtb trails for a while? Agreed. Trails can be rebuilt. Homes and life's take much longer

Any donations of bottled water & food & energy drinks can be send to Biodiversity office at main gate of Lourensford farm...pls spread the word... seems the fire is being tackled on many fronts!

Johny Bravo Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 Its seems really really bad now. I can see the huge cloud of smoke all the way from Paarl. My girlfriend works in central Stellenbosch, and they are really suffering with all the smoke and ash. So sad.
