Guaranteed podium then if i enter [emoji16] [emoji16] [emoji16]

Don't enter. If there are only 4 of us taking part of which one is me and one is my wife, I'll distract her meters from the end and attack to pip her at the line for my first ever podium!

Can you get a PPA number before the race tomorrow?

Yes (or a temp one at least), just don't leave it last minute, queues at PPA stall sometimes very long

I have decided to avoid the sandpit that was the last 15km of the 63km last year... Now if I can just avoid the suspension collapse, the wheel buckle, and the sin of humour failure of last year, too, it will be a jol...*holding thumbs* :)

Well done to everyone who completed this race.

The route was by no means tough but if you want run with the big dogs you can't piss like a puppy, needless to say I got dropped up the climbs with my 36T 1x10, left bleeding through my eye balls. Cramped in the final kilometre.

Lots of recovery for me to do & plenty of "homework" to be done.

Btw I believe there was a wrong turn taken somewhere by some guys. I can confirm our group took all the arrows into account. I clocked exactly 64km on my Garmin.

The race was tougher than I expected. Maybe it's because I started cramping around halfway on the 63 KM and had to take it easier for the last 30 KMs . I think its probably because all the strenuous parts are in the first 15-20 KMs (The climbs, forest single-track and sandy bits)

But what a great event! I'll definitely be back next year.

Yip Milky - at the dam after the descent off the main climb there appeared to be a mix up. The marshals said I needed to turn right but there were people coming from the left. Ended up with 60km but enjoyed the ride nevertheless.
