Jumping up and down in my seat at the thought

Hmmm, got to ask yourself that if Tokai right next door expands it's network of trails, what value would expanding the trails in Silvermine offer from a conservation pov? It's not an outright no but rather a balanced view from both sides of the table. It always needs to be a consideration.

As for singletrack access into/from Silvermine, there is certainly an opportunity. Especially when it comes to eventing. Right now events cannot use S'mine because of the single entry/exit point and a switchback descent back into Tokai will probably need an additional ST in S'mine leading to that point.

Did that make sense?

That makes perfect sense!  I read: "more trails!  And other interesting info leading to more trails!"

I also read that a nice big loop could be coming.

Exciting times!

..............3: Last corner on Boulders. That rooty section from hell. Eventually managed to find the right speed and approach to it and clear it properly...

The last year or 2 that one got my ass just about every time.

The "V" in the rock.. At least that will still be there.

That bloody V.........I was secretly happy when the "baddies" made a chicken run there.
