JacBrand Posted April 3, 2015 Share Like he said in the video. Its the rider more than the bike. Wheel size and bike price does not you a better rider, training does. But yea, I still have a 26 inch bike and would probebly upgrade to 29 inch later this year. Final thought... just be happy! GoLefty!! Posted April 3, 2015 Share "No statistical difference" The dialogue should have ended there because after that he shot his science in the foot and came across as 29 punter. YUMEYA and gummibear

JohnnyD. Posted April 27, 2015 Share Went from a 29" XCO Hardtail to a 650b trail bike and I love the 650b. I find it much faster in the proper technical stuff. But again, all boils down to "personal preference". Raf
Wayne Potgieter Posted April 28, 2015 Share LOVE MY 26ER and my 650B and my SS and my geared bike WAIT!! JUST LOVE MY BIKES yeah. I am pretty much in the same boat. I have always grabbed my dual suss 29r as my go to bike for events and long rides and so on. But this weekend i played around with a long travel CTD suspension 650b and it was so much fun. My garmin times at big red barn were faster than the 29r. but i doubt any science was involved....i was just having so much fun i was riding like mad. It just proves that the fastest bike is the funnest bike.
