Yep the boyf and I are entered. Rode there on Friday and really enjoyed it. Black route is damn challenging - didnt check tyre pressure and when I got home front was 0.6, I dont think that helped. Blue was more than enough for me.

Yip. In for the 50km. Will be interesting to see how the trail will be laid out. If you stick to the blue, you have to redo sections to get close to 50km.

Would be great to see see some proper seeding of say the top 20 to help level the playing fields at the front of A batch. Hopefully we will see a split of routes so that the faster 50km and 30km riders do not have to battle through and scare the life out of the slower riders.

The 50km and 30km riders definitely shouldn't cross trails - will cause severe congestion. However, it think it will be inevitable.

Will see this weekend.

Yes, have entered. From what I remember of last year their were a few climbs (one major one) and then a lot of single track. So yes if we join the 30km group at one stage will be quite frustrating. However I expect fast times for the 30/50km races.

Yes, doing 50. It's a flat, easy ride, only 900m ascent.

A little more than the Red Barn event. SS territory.

Couple of climbs that'll hurt.

The one at the water recycling property has a bite, and the Phambili side has two or three that takes some effort.

Red barn has none such intensity climbs. Cant compare the two.
