This thread started out right. :D

Maybe I should go the vagina route yes...I see there is quite a demand for 2nd hand penis..(carte blanche). Maybe then I shall start winning some races  :whistling: .

I did about 4 rides in this bib. Washed it properly everytime. The skin is raw, but no infection.

I stopped at Mkem24. Pharmacist says they can't get this anymore.

I say, take a break, let it heal. Start riding with older bibs for a few weeks if there's no rash, somethings up with your new bib.

I had something similar.

Eventually found that there was some 'rough' stitching around the chamois.

Not rough enough to feel immediately, but after a few hours it would rub me raw in a place where most people don't want to be rubbed raw...

Thanks for that mental pic, sounds like an episode of embarrassing bodies...

Now can one of the girls make an 'inner thigh' comment please!!

The English work you are looking for is "Fungus"

And unless there are photos, no doc in the world can help except by guessing.... or a face to face visit is requried.

And whatever treatment works for you - give it to all your garments that come into contact with that area - personally I would start with a twice a day surgical spirits spray - if it does not look better within 2 days, go see your GP.

THERE ARE NO PHOTOS.

Chafe? What was that product called again, "asswipe"?

Finishing chemicals applied to certain fabrics at manufacturing stages can cause skin irritation if you are sensitive to those chemicals. A friend and I once bought identical softshell tops at the same time just before a hiking trip. She got an itchy rash wherever her skin came into contact with this garment and I was not affected. After washing no more problems...

If it does not clear up in a day or so, go and visit a doc. It could be bacterial, fungal or allergy related and the treatment is not the same for all these. Also, any skin irritation can get further infected so take care to keep it clean and dry until healed. Get well soon.
