In fact we always used to say it was a good one for seeding because the elites do a longer distance(thus excluding them from our seeding)so in theory the winning time is a bit slower so your seeding is slightly better.

Frosty Posted September 9, 2015 Posted September 9, 2015 Entries for the 947 have closed earlier than normal this year. The charity I'm riding for had said the seeding is currently underway and additions to the charity group can only be applied for between 18-23 September after the seeding has been completed. That will explain why this race (R4V) is not going to be used.

This route is an official qualifier for the 2015 Momentum 94.7 Cycle Challenge as well as an Official Premier Seeding Event for the 2016 Cape Town Cycle Tour.

HBO Posted September 9, 2015 Posted September 9, 2015 I know from previous experience that the organisers at 94.7 are rather lenient to do a reseeding. For my wife's first race we gave them times (not official timed, but that of her Polar) to get a better seeding and they bumped her 10 groups up. on the other hand I struggle with a slight case of flu the last couple of days, so we will see how it goes Sunday.
