This was a brilliantly organised event

Did it last year.

Don't expect the Okavango delta, it is a lot of sand, thorns and rocks. But the tented camp, ablutions and the food was better than at the Pioneer.

It really is a unique bushveld experience

and for the price it is a bargain

The sand is not that bad.Couple of river bed crossings and the campsite.

If you are not 2bliss dont bother going :-)

This event will be better than ever. Strong sponsors and professional focus.

This quiet race, just across the border is going to become a MUST DO. It's different and it keeps the legs going in winter.

I'm sure they will still accept entries.

One week to go!!!

Weather looks a bit chilly but still sunny .

The overnight temperatures in the camp can get very low.

One year I left my polar watch on my bike. In the morning it was showing -6c
