Anyone know where we can get batch seedings?

They generally send them out in the week before the event...give it a day or 2

Yes they normally wait a day or two after registration closes. So should be out by Wednesday or Thursday.

Thank goodness some spots opened up. Got an entry to the 40km race.

I have a concern about those floating bridges though. If you're a heavy rider, can you still go over them? I'm 133Kgs.

Damn only gave me an option for the fun ride ...is 70 km sold out?

If it didn't show they must be sold out again. Bad luck man.

In for the marathon. Hopefully it's a good leg warmer for Van Gaalen next weekend. Stoked for Buffelsdrift

Yes, should be a bit quicker than Van Gaalens! Also nice weather expected the weekend so going to be nice ride on one of the best trials in Gauteng!!

Anyone do the marathon last year?

I have entered, but pretty undertrained, how does it stack up against other events of a similar distance?

Yes you will be fine. They generally build decent bridges and I have seen the floating ones and you will need more than 133kg to sink them. Remember to not go to slow because it makes it more difficult and a swim might not be the hottest thing on the day. Think we might have a few spectators on the day as well
