Wonder who'll crack the final 9

GO, MINE-CHEEZE!

I wonder if the four internationals and our three saffers aren't a safe bet for being in the nine. Which means that it comes down to the other four. Of those I'd say Daniel T and Reguigui are the most likely to make the cut. That said cutting any two out of that group is hard as each deserves a shot at racing La Grande Boucle!

Agree Kudus and Berhane have struggled a bit this year and I would feel they will be cut.

They then have the two climbers in Meintjies , & Jansen Van Rensburg

GC in Cummings

Sprints Farrar, Reinie, Reguigui&boasen Hagen

Classic stages, Boasen Hagen, Cumming, Pauwels & Reinie

I would think close but really hope that they don't take Farrar...so maybe 3 of the internationals and 1 of the rest of Africa riders will be left out.

Please Douglas...please no Farrar....

Well Kudus and Berhane both have a race to fix that perception but in the end I think what will decide the exact make up is what goals MTN/Douglas wants to achieve ie a white jersey for Meintjies or green for one of Farrar or Eddie B?

Sorry I think Douglas is going to take Farrar purely as double sprint threat with Eddie B.

Man that would be sad..the guy is useless!!!Eddie B I think we still going to see great thing off and Rynardt is the perfect leadout man for him.

Sad also that they left out van Zyl,(he is going to Vuelta)..he has been their main breakaway man this year and would have been great to see him do this at the tour. But I think the guy's that rode Vuelta last year will most probably get the nod ahead of guys that has no grand tour experience.

Well I guess we need to wait and see. Would also be tactically easier to have one main sprinter instead of two and Eddie does give you the advantage of being able to do well in the classics type stages. A lot I think depends on what goals Douglas has for the team wrt the race. Meintjies could be a credible contender for white jersey so having a bit of extra back up for him might be in play as well. All I know for sure it's going to be a hard set of choices to make.
