Hi

I recently got a new Cannondale with a Lefty.

Now I'm wondering what is the shortest available stem options for a Lefty as well as where I can find them.

I'm looking at something like this:

Does anyone of you know where I can find such a stem?

All input would be appreciated!

To my knowledge those stems are custom made for there team riders. I will try get an answer for you on Monday on whether there is a retail version.

That looks like the Leonardi proto. They might be in production now, not sure. Spoke101 will no doubt find out.

Last I read they won't be much shorter than 90mm as the radical neg angle leads to bar and/ or stanchion clearance issues.

A Italian company by the name of Leonardi make them. They don't come cheap if you can get your hands on one. Cycle Lab Limpopo(I think) was selling one and wanted R2500.

Does not have to be that exact stem

Even if it is a normal opi it would be perfect, all I need is the shortest stem possible for a lefty.

Go check Qwerty Cycles out in uk. They sell normal Opi stems (£50) as well as the Leonardi stems (£120) and lots of other Cannondale goodies. I have just place an order last week with them and now it is wait and see how long delivery takes!

Can you please keep me posted on how long the delivery takes and maybe how much did you have to pay for Tax and so on... Thanks

As far as I know the shortest OPI stem you can get is 90mm.  The Leonardi's design is intended to get the handlebar as low as possible, that is why most of the pro's use them.

Parcel from Qwerty Cycles received today. Took 6-7 days from UK to SA and another 2 weeks to get through customs. Will definitely use them again.
