Oh dear RIP,

it looks as if the toyota is travelling in the wrong direction? :cursing:

Check where the bike is, car just stopped on the otherside, it happened on the right side of the road.

But none the less sad...

I think we need to differentiate between a cyclist and some "dude" on a bicycle.

to me a cyclist is someone who takes his cycling seriously, wears a helmet, uses lights, maintains his bike, and rides defensively etc.

the latter, a "dude" on a bicycle, is usually someone who rides out of necessity. it's a means to an end, which sadly means he doesn't wear a helmet, ride defensively, maintain his bike when it comes to essential items such as brakes, and probably doesn't have road sense.

looking at the bicycle in that pic, this was a "dude" on a bicycle.

my point. it's sad when a cyclist gets in this kind of accident, but less shocking when said "dude" does because you can be sure all the necessary steps to prevent personal injury weren't taken.

RIP dude.

Calling this murder is absolute hogwash because we don't know that this "dude" was mowed down with intent. for all we know this happened in the dark of night on a national road (which implies high speeds) because the deceased could not be seen. reflectors, lights???

So troll, now your differentiating between a cyclist and a cyclist. (ra...l don't you think)

Should there be less remorse for someone riding a bicycle as a means to earn a living, then someone riding a bicycle out of enjoyment (who has disposable income after feeding his family, to buy the essentials). Don't be to quick to judge because you, like me are extremely privilege to feed out families and ride out of enjoyment.

I do not know the circumstance off the accident, yes i may be quick to jump to the murder immediately... (judgmental i know). I will revise the heading if I can to satisfy your request. If I can
