I have done a whole lot of research over the past 6 days trying to understand what has happened to PPA and here my comments.PPA good corporate governance?They have just appointed a member of the EXCO to be the CEO with out him resinging from the EXCO before applying for the job!!! To top it all it was a secret ballot off the remaining committee member off which about 6 are part of his MTB club, who voted on the final 3 candidates without even seeing the CV of these candidates! I don’t even know if this new CEO qualified to get past round one of the interviews i.e. 3 years of tertiary education was in the ad for the job! Two PPA - EXCO member I have spoken too could not confirm this for me.PPA has hit rock bottom on corporate governance!! Since speaking to some PPA committee members who are in in “shock” as to how PPA has been “taken over” by a club!I am not saying the new CEO is or is not the correct man for the job - I don’t even know him and did not know his name until after receiving the letter in the post - but it seems corporate governance was not high on the agenda on appointing the new CEO.

We are not part of the "inner inner inner circle" I think the real issue here is that someone is randomly hand delivering rants via hand delivered post - creepy... This is the cause of the thread by Travis, people are now just ranting to other hubbers via hand delivered letters and not on the hub

This is the cause of the thread by Travis, people are now just ranting to other hubbers via hand delivered letters and not on the hub It's only creepy because we didn't get a copy.I think I'd be kind of excited to receive something in the mail that wasn't a bill...though I'd like it in an envelope with some stamps on it...(not coming out the trench coat of some shady spy movie villian - at least that is how I like to imagine these were delivered)
